Chevy/GMC C-1500 2"/4" Drop Kits: For a nice, clean drop on the conservative side, try this one on for size! For 99-06 models, the front drop is accomplished using coils in the Economy Drop, or Western's 4130 chromoly steel heavy-duty 2" Super A- arms in the Deluxe Drop. These A-arms maintain factory ride quality and install in 1/3 of the time that Bell Tech's spindle modification kit requires. 07+ models require 2" front coils due to the new suspension design. In the rear, 99-06 models use Western's adjustable shackle / hanger kit which provides 2", 3" or 4" of total drop. Chevy/GMC C-1500 3"/4" Drop Kits: For a nice medium drop with a slight forward rake, you'll want a 3"/4" drop. This will put the front end 1" lower than the rear for what many people feel is a sportier look. The 3"/4" Economy drop is identical to the 2"/4" Economy above except for the use of 3" coils in the front and new shorter front bump stops. The 3"/4"Deluxe drop is identical to the 2"/4" Deluxe drop above except for the addition of 1" Smooth-Rider front coils to bring it down the extra inch. Chevy/GMC C-1500 3"/5" Drop Kits: If you're looking for a serious drop with the level look, but you want to squeak by without C-sectioning the frame, these kits were made for you. The 3"/5" Economy Drop uses 3" coils in the front and along with new shorter bump stops. The 3"/5" Deluxe drop uses 2" Super A-arms up front along with 1" Smooth-Rider front coils to provide a factory-like ride. In the rear, both kits use 3" Smooth-Rider rear leafs along with 2" shackles. (Leafs are necessary as a shackle/hanger kit is limited to 4" of total rear drop.) Both kits, Econo and Deluxe, also include new shorter rear stops. Chevy/GMC C-1500 4"/6" Drop Kits: If you're after the ulitmate drop look for the new C-1500, this is how you get there. This popular new Western Chassis kit uses the new Super A-arms up front for 2", along with a pair of 2" Western Chassis Smooth-Rider Coils. For the tail end, Western's 6" flip kit is utilized to flip the factory leafs under the axle and heavy-duty 1/4" plate steel C-sections are used to reinforce the frame after notching for maximum rear suspension travel. For a $160 upgrade, Western Smooth-Rider drop leafs are available for improved rear ride quality (only 30% less load capacity). We love this kit and you will too! On the other hand, if you need to tow your boat or handle a heavy, load you'll want to take advantage of another of another optional Deluxe kit we offer, which in- cludes a rear SlamAir kit by AirLift. This kit works in conjunction with the rear flip kit, mounting to the leaf and C- section to provide load-boosting and leveling up to 1800 lbs. Imagine towing with this much drop . . . who said you can't have your cake and eat it too?
