Sturdier Design: The
chromoly steel tubing that Western uses is much stronger and, of course, more
expensive than the cheap d.o.m. tubing used by the such lesser brands as Chassis
Tech (AIM) and DJM Suspension. Also, you'll notice that Western's the only brand
that uses a 1/4" steel plate to gussett the entire base of the control arm
on their 1/2-ton designs. This heavy plate connects the pivot arms with the spring bucket for the ultimate in durabilty.
