Western Chassis Dropped Truck Super
A-arms | Western
Chassis 2" Dropped Super A-arms:
As the inventor of
the world's first chromoly dropped truck lower A-arm (contol-arm), Western's got
the jump on the competition again. No other lowering kit manufacturer uses chromoly
steel due to the increased expense, but Western put safety first. In addition,
the added durability allows them to put a 7-year limited warranty on each A-arm.
The factory uses special welding fixtures to ensure fitment.

More about the Super A-arms
. . .
Western
Chassis Super A-arms have definite advantages over the rest: |
| | 1/
Sturdier Design: The
chromoly steel tubing that Western uses is much stronger and, of course, more
expensive than the cheap d.o.m. tubing used by the such lesser brands as Chassis
Tech (AIM) and DJM Suspension. Also, you'll notice that Western's the only brand
that uses a 1/4" steel plate to gussett the entire base of the control arm
on their 1/2-ton designs. This heavy plate connects the pivot arms with the
spring bucket for the ultimate in durabilty. If you've heard things over the years
about how lowered aftermarket A-arms don't hold up, you heard right...but that
was before Western hit the scene with their Super A-arm! Just pick up a pair and
you'll see how much heavier they are than the competition (55 pounds). There are
no lightweights in the Western gang!
| 2/ Ease of Installation:
Some aftermarket A-arm
manufacturers force you to actually modify the factory spindle at the holes for
the lower ball joints, just so you can make their part mount up. With Western's
no-hassle design, everything bolts up to the factory componentry without modification.
Simply bolt it on . . . | | | | 3/
Perfect Alignment:
Each Western Chassis Super A-arm is designed with the geometry
necessary to bring you right back to factory alignment specs. And with the Dakota
A-arms, you'll even notice a reduction in the factory bump steer as a result of
Western's better steering geometry. That's right, better than factory! |
| | | 4/ 7-Year Limited Warranty:
Western's limited warranty is longer than any domestic truck's
factory warranty. How's that for standing behind their product? |
| | | So...to
recap...Western's Super A-arms are better built, better backed, and provide as
good or better ride quality and steering geometry than the factory. Face it .
. . it's time to join the Western gang. Put the brand of quality on your truck
